Total Eclipse Breakfast Stout

Maumee Bay Brewing Company’s Total Eclipse Breakfast Stout is a hearty meal in a glass. As it pours, it devours the light and your glass is filled with darkness. This massive beer brewed with espresso beans (from Flying Rhino in Toledo, OH), oatmeal, and lactose offers a rich and complex taste that begs to be savored. With a smooth carbonation and luscious roasted malt flavor, you will fade to black as you slowly sip this finely crafted brew. We recommend serving at 45-50 degrees in your favorite snifter. It’s nothing but total bliss from Maumee Bay Brewing Co. RATED 96 ON BEER ADVOCATE!!

  1. 4 stars my ******. This is better than Founders. Fantastic beer. I’ve had all the Cincy beers, Jackie O’s, the Dayton beers. From what I’ve had this is the best beer in Ohio. The DIPA was really good too. Great work.

  2. I’ve never been a fan of any stout until I tried Total Eclipse. It’s so incredibly smooth… I have no idea where that 9.1% hides in there, but believe me it does! Tastes awesome cold, even better after being left out 10-15 minutes.

  3. Fantastic beer. Went to Columbus Brew Fest this year and tried an amazing amount of beers. At the end of the night, this was the beer I was wanting more of. Couldn’t find it at a few liquor stores in the area the next day, sadly…Definitely don’t get any of it out here in MD

  4. Absolutely one of my favorite beers from here. Wonderfully complex. The barrel aged version is stellar. I also had their Mole version and holy crap…they need to bottle that stuff ASAP.

  5. I’m not usually a fan of stouts, but this one changed my mind! It has a great bold coffee flavor without tasting bitter or feeling heavy. It also has a nice smooth texture, and the aroma is heavenly!

  6. I picked up a six-pack last month in Ann Arbor. I made a pretty good coffee stout myself a few years ago, but this is fantastic. Worth every penny! I will stock up next time I’m in the area.

  7. Had it at Put in Bay and was not disappointed. Wonderful Stout that was smooth and very flavorful. Highly recommend this beer.

  8. I drink Total Eclipse just about every time I go to Toledo. It is a really good, strong beer and very easy on my digestive system. I always get a six pack of Total Eclipse at Zavotski’s.
